Six Sigma Executive Conference

The Tech Group is pleased to offer its customers the opportunity to attend the Six Sigma Executive Summit on October 27-28, 2004. Due to overwhelming requests to conduct a Six Sigma executive training seminar, our Process Excellence Department, and other departments within the Tech Group, have combined their skills, experience and knowledge of Lean/Sigma to create this executive seminar. Designed for middle to top-level executive teams, this course explains the core concepts of Six Sigma and how it can affect an organization's performance.

With growing global competition, companies are under greater pressure than ever to reduce time to market, delivery time and cost, as well as improving quality. Companies have turned to Lean/Sigma to help achieve these goals.

This two day class teaches executives how to properly identify projects, foresee potential project obstacles and set realistic expectations that drive financial results. In addition, attendees will also be taught the necessary Lean/Sigma infrastructure, deployment roles and responsibilities and how to establish positive cultural changes within your company. Interactive sessions with hands-on exercises will be conducted to reinforce the theoretical concepts.

What you will learn:

  • The concepts and philosophy of Six Sigma

  • The practical and literal translations of Six Sigma and its evolution into business

  • How to identify and scope projects

  • How Lean/Sigma can be used in your business and the results that can be expected

  • Deployment roles and responsibilities

  • Selecting Green Belts and Black Belts

  • The concepts and philosophy of Lean

  • How to streamline your operation and save money

  • The concepts and philosophy of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)

  • How to apply DFSS to the design of products and manufacturing and support processes

  • How to influence culture change

The goal of this training is to increase your knowledge of Six Sigma to effectively incorporate it into your business. You will learn to identify the elements of a well-written business case as well as learn the importance of project selection. Finally, you will learn about the tools used to complete successful projects.

The team that will work with you over the course of this session are all highly skilled, certified Black Belts or Master Black Belts.

We hope you will join us for this exciting opportunity. This two-day seminar is being offered to all Tech Group customers at no charge. To confirm your attendance, contact Shari Krusniak at 480-281-4549.
