The Tech Group Acquires Facility in Indiana

Scottsdale, AZ -December 2, 2004 -- The Tech Group, a global plastics injection molder and contract manufacturer announced today that it has recently purchased a facility in Frankfort, Indiana as part of its ongoing growth strategy.

Reflecting the expansion and of its Consumer Products Business, the purchase was necessary to support recent growth opportunities in the region. Optimally located to service customers in the mid-west and east coast, the 70,000 square foot manufacturing facility is only 45 minutes outside Indianapolis and expected to be fully operational by February, 2005.

The Tech Group's investment will include $4.5 million in equipment and technology. It will hold up to 32 presses ranging in tonnage from 50 to 700 "We are extremely excited to be expanding our presence in the Midwest. Our Indiana site will allow us to better serve our consumer products customers," states Tech Group's Vice President of Consumer Products Mike Treadaway.

According to Treadaway, the new facility is part of a move into broader product categories in Consumer Products and is inline with The Company's overall growth strategy.
