David Moffitt is a Business Graduate of University College, Dublin and started his business life in 1982 as a Management Trainee with Jefferson Smurfit Group, the worlds largest paper based packaging company. Over the next eleven years, David was the General Manager of three companies within the group, one of which was in Madrid, Spain. He also spent three years as the Personal Assistant to the Chairman, Dr. Michael W.J. Smurift. He left Jefferson Smurfit Group in 1992 to become the Regional Director for Europe for the computer services division of R.R. Donnelley, the world's largest commercial printers, where he had responsibility for six operating companies in the UK and Ireland. In 1996, David set off on a mission to buy his own company with venture capital backing and ultimately ended up buying into The Tech Group's start up manufacturing operation in Ireland. Today David is the Managing Director of Tech Group Europe.
